VolunteerFIRST is designed to provide a central source for organizations in need of volunteers, while available individuals in their community can review these opportunities and apply online to participate. Our goal is that over time, such organizations and their generous volunteers, will make this site a cost-effective resource and reference center for the volunteer workforce.

VolunteerFIRST is located at 225 Kings Lynn Road, Stoughton, WI 53589. Stoughton is a small community, population about 15,000, located 12 miles south of Madison, Wisconsin, USA. The cost of this VolunteerFIRST resource is supported in several ways:

• VolunteerFIRST provides a reduced-cost 'Online Registration System' which drastically simplifies and reduces the cost of volunteer management in organizations that rely on recruiting volunteers throughout the year. For $99 per month - VolunteerFIRST provides an easy to use, online volunteer registration and management application - dedicated to that organization - and currently in use by dozens of Corps at The Salvation Army across the nation. • Program Sponsorships - An increasing number of traditional firms and individuals are now generously contributing the cost of the VolunteerFIRST Online Registration System for those non-profit organizations that need it. The 1-year, $99/month donation provides this resource to the organizations that do not have the budget for this service. In return, the sponsor is rewarded with site-wide sponsorship advertising at the top-center of every page in the website for the entire year!
• Premium Listing - Organizations, or individuals, who are able to make a donation to this resource contribute greatly to keep our efforts moving forward and while furthering our chance for success and improvement. Cost of a premium listing is just $25 annually. By selecting such add-ons, these organizations help our cause and increase the success of, and responses to your listing.
• Gift Donations - Direct donations are needed to help VolunteerFIRST provide the services needed. These gifts allow us to respond to requests for program improvements, provide online and traditional marketing, application support, and user-training. If you are able to make a contribution, your gift will be enjoyed by the thousands of individuals who rely on the VolunteerFIRST application.
